Start your Day Productive
Setting a routine not only helps with time management, but increases productivity.
1) Wake up early
Starting your day earlier means you have more time to do the things you normally can’t fit into your schedule. Plus, this easily adaptible habit will help springboard you into a more-productive daily routine.
2) Read a chapter from my favorite book
Reading is proven to be a more effective form of relaxation than listening to music or drinking tea. Ditch the phone and social media checks first thing in the morning, and opt for turning on your mind slowly with a nice, easy read.
3) Meditate on gratitude
Taking time to check in with your mental health and focus on positivity will set you up for success by creating a mindset that is rested, relaxed, and focused.
4) Prepare yourself a cup of your favorite coffee
We prefer a dark roast, as it has a richer, smoother taste and less caffeine, so you can enjoy that cup of morning coffee without feeling too jittery.
5) Start writing– little creative writing exercises
Several studies show that our minds are sharpest in the morning, which makes it a great time to work on tasks that require a lot of brain power. This is a great opportunity to work on honing your creative writing skills. We recommend using online prompt generators, which can be useful in encouraging flexibility and experimentation in your writing.
